They were a one-stop shop as they managed all related jobs for sparkies, plumbers and even fixed up the driveway after the rains and heavy traffic.  C.J. Carpentry and Construction inherited our under-roof veranda and outdoor kitchen extension project when the drafting, engineers and BAL reports had all been completed. After an on-site discussion, we made a few alterations to the plan, before signing a contract with Connor Jones. He was not able to commence our veranda until March the following year, which was OK by us. Connor Jones had come with great recommendations, and we were more than happy to wait. The whole process from start to end was seamless and without hiccup. Connor kept us completely up-to-date during the whole construction via emails or by phone contact. Our extension was completed by the end of June and we could not be happier. All of the trades Connor contracted were friendly and professional in their approach and work ethic. The worksite was left clean and tidy, and we are already enjoying the benefits of our fine-looking veranda. Connor is an approachable, friendly, professional and very considerate person with a calm and cheery disposition.

Most definitely! We are fully QBCC licensed (#15354353) in low rise building and carpentry. Our employees are also fully qualified in carpentry, with our head builder Connor also obtaining his building licence.  
Yes! We are fully insured with public liability and products insurance to make sure your home is safe in our hands.


Yes! Connor is a fully qualified builder with extensive experience in the industry. His team of skilled carpenters have completed the necessary training and certifications to ensure all work meets the highest standards. We are committed to delivering quality craftsmanship, adhering to Australian building codes and regulations, and providing reliable, professional service on every project.
In most cases, any new structure or extension over 9m2 will require council approval AND building certification. This may require attaining the following:
  1. draftsman/architectural drawings
  2. soil testing
  3. structural engineer's drawings
These matters will be discussed with you as they are a requirement in order for us to provide you with an accurate quote. At C.J Carpentry & Construction we are able to arrange all of the above services for your project if you choose.

The approximate cost of these services ranges from $2,000-$5,000 + depending on the size and complexity of the build/project.

Alternatively, you are welcome to gain the correct drawings yourself to send to us upon requesting a quote or after you have had your site visit. Once plans have been obtained and finalised we are then able to provide you with an accurate quotation.

Once a quote request has been placed, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to discuss your project and collect some details. From here, a site visit may be organised for our builder, Connor, to come and assess your project. A quote will then be emailed to you within *14 days.

*Please note that if you are choosing to have C.J Carpentry & Construction organise your approval/certification, your quote may take longer then 14 days to be provided.
Once a quote request has been placed, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to discuss your project and collect some important details such as;
  1. your project description
  2. where you are located
  3. collect appropriate drawings/ building certification/ approval
  4. personal details (mobile number, email)

We will also discuss the following with you;
  1. our availability
  2. *the process of attaining correct certification (if required) if not already done so OR the option of having C.J Carpentry & Construction attain the correct drawings can be discussed
From here, a site visit may then be organised for our head builder Connor to come and assess the area. An accurate quote will then be emailed to you within *14 days.

*Please note that at C.J Carpentry & Construction we are able to arrange the correct approval/certification services for your project if you choose.

Yes! Site visits are a crucial part in making sure the quote we supply you is as accurate as can be. By having our builder Connor come out to your location this also allows a thorough meet and greet where you can truly discuss your visions with him. If you are requiring C.J Carpentry & Construction to attain your certification/approval on your behalf, then a site visit is mandatory.

Site visits will be organised with you after you have requested a quote via this site, Instagram, Facebook messenger, email, call or text. Once we have been in contact with you to collect project information, a site visit date and time will be organised.
Upon accepting your quote from C.J Carpentry and booking in a commencement date for your build, all new clients are required to pay a small deposit which will be discussed with you. The deposit is then taken out of the final figure still owed. 
We require a direct bank deposit after the completion of your build where our details can be found on the invoice sent to you.
Not one job is the same... meaning there are many factors that can influence the completion time of your build. A timeline will be discussed with you during your site visit and you will always be kept updated throughout the build if things need to change.
We may be able to continue your build while its raining if we have coverage or are working indoors. If the forecast does impact our ability to work, you will always be kept updated and a plan will be created for when we can recommence work.
